Vereda do Pico do Castelo

PS PR 2 Vereda do Pico do Castelo climbs from the Moledo area through Porto Santo's central volcanic landscape toward the Pico do Castelo viewpoint. Hikers can choose shorter or longer variants, passing pine woods, traces of old agricultural land and exposed slopes before reaching broad views over Vila Baleira, the long golden beach, the airport and offshore islets. The route combines reforested shade, island history and open panoramas, making it one of Porto Santo's most rewarding official walks.
