Vereda do Pico Branco e Terra Chã

PS PR 1 Vereda do Pico Branco e Terra Cha is one of Porto Santo's signature hikes, climbing from the regional road toward Pico Branco and the Terra Cha plateau. The trail was originally shaped for cargo animals and passes the Rocha Quebrada geological formation, cypress and pine vegetation, island viewpoints and arid volcanic scenery. From the upper sections, walkers gain wide views over cliffs, the Atlantic and nearby islets. It is a compact route with strong landscape variety.
