Vereda do Pico Fernandes

PR 6.5 Vereda do Pico Fernandes starts on the Paul da Serra plateau and links an old footpath with the Levada das 25 Fontes area. It moves from open heath and mountain views into greener hollows, laurel species and levada scenery, with a notable viewpoint around Pico Fernandes. On clear days the plateau and Rabacal panoramas are extensive. This route is useful for hikers who want to approach the 25 Fontes landscape through a quieter, more elevated and more varied access path.
