Vereda da Lagoa do Vento

PR 6.3 Vereda da Lagoa do Vento leads from the Rabacal area toward one of Madeira's most striking waterfall pools. The path crosses the transition between high-altitude heath and Laurissilva forest before descending to Lagoa do Vento, where cliffs, moss, water and dense greenery create a dramatic setting. It can be linked with other PR 6 trails, including Levada do Alecrim and Levada das 25 Fontes. Expect uneven ground and steps despite the relatively short distance.

PR 6.3 Vereda da Lagoa do Vento is a linear trail on Madeira, covering 1.8 km (3.6 km round trip), with an estimated walking time of 1:30 hours. It runs from Casa de Abrigo do Rabaçal to Lagoa do Vento. Altitude ranges from 200 m to 1600 m.
