Trail Description
PR 6.2 Levada do Alecrim follows a high levada from the Rabacal area toward Ribeira do Lajeado and its spring-fed pools. The trail offers calm forest walking, heather tunnels, views over the Rabacal valley and Ribeira da Janela, and a rewarding cascade with clear green-blue water. It is generally quieter than Levada das 25 Fontes while still delivering classic Laurissilva scenery. The route is a good choice for hikers who want an atmospheric levada walk with waterfalls and less bustle.
