Trail Description
PR 6.1 Levada do Risco shares the Rabacal setting with Levada das 25 Fontes but leads to a different highlight: the Risco waterfall viewpoint. This short levada route runs through lush, humid forest at around 1,000 metres, with broad views into Madeira's natural interior before reaching the vertical waterfall and its rocky amphitheatre. It is a relatively easy and photogenic walk that works well on its own or as part of a longer day exploring the Rabacal network.
