Trail Description
PR 6 Levada das 25 Fontes is one of Madeira's best-known levada walks, starting in Rabacal and leading through dense Laurissilva forest to the famous pool fed by many springs. The route follows old water channels, mossy walls and shaded paths, with nearby links to the Risco waterfall and other PR 6 trails. Its combination of waterfalls, green forest and accessible levada walking makes it very popular. Expect crowds at busy times and always check official route conditions before visiting.
