Vereda da Ribeira da Janela

PR 15 Vereda da Ribeira da Janela descends from the Fanal and Curral Falso area toward Ribeira da Janela. The trail follows remnants of an old path once used for timber, wine transport and links between north and south settlements. Hikers pass scrub, laurel forest, valley views and the agricultural landscape near the coast, with the dramatic Ribeira da Janela valley as the destination. The short distance includes a meaningful descent, so footing and direction of travel matter.
