Trail Description
PR 14 Levada dos Cedros begins in the Fanal area and follows one of Madeira's older levadas through a deeply green Laurissilva setting. The route passes centuries-old til trees, moss-covered walls, waterfalls, pools and quiet forest sections within the Madeira Natural Park. Its calm levada character and strong sense of ancient woodland make it one of the most atmospheric walks around Porto Moniz and Paul da Serra. The terrain is generally moderate, but wet surfaces can be slippery.
