Levada do Furado

PR 10 Levada do Furado runs from Ribeiro Frio toward Portela, following one of Madeira's classic levada corridors through Laurissilva forest. The route includes shaded water-channel paths, short tunnels, forest openings and views toward the north-east of the island. It also connects naturally with the Ribeiro Frio area and the Balcoes viewpoint detour. The trail can be long and occasionally affected by closures or alternative access routes, so it is best approached with current status information and enough time.
